No more worrying about blood pressure!
Blood pressure is the force with which blood presses against the walls of the blood vessels. If this pressure is in balance, blood flows more easily, and all parts of the body receive enough oxygen and nutrients. However, when the pressure becomes too high or too low for too long, this can manifest in feeling unwell - we are tired, we may have a headache, or feel dizzy.
Several factors influence blood pressure, including diet, exercise, stress, sleep, and even how much we drink. In everyday life, we can help ourselves by regular exercise, including less salt in our diet, more fruits and vegetables, and getting enough (quality) sleep.
Every small step counts - with a few changes, we can do a lot for our well-being.
