Fermented soy extract (Glycine max) is a concentrated product obtained from fermented soybeans. The process of soy fermentation occurs when special microorganisms (such as bacteria, yeasts, or molds) change the chemical composition of soy.

During this process, new substances are created that improve the digestibility and nutritional value of food - consequently, the body can better utilize them. Due to all its positive properties, fermented soy extract is also used in cosmetic products.

The enzyme nattokinase is responsible for breaking down fibrin in the body.

Nattokinase is an enzyme obtained from a traditional Japanese dish called natto, which is made from fermented soybeans. The bacteria Bacillus subtilis are responsible for the fermentation and consequently the production of nattokinase.

The enzyme nattokinase is a popular ingredient in dietary supplements due to its ability to break down fibrin, a protein that is crucial in the blood clotting process. It is also found in dietary supplements that support normal blood circulation and the cardiovascular system.

One capsule contains 2000 FU of nattokinase. FU, or fibrinolytic units, is a measurement unit used to assess the activity of nattokinase. 1 FU represents the amount of nattokinase that can break down a certain amount of fibrin in a specific period under certain conditions. A higher FU value indicates a greater efficiency of the enzyme in breaking down fibrin.
