Take care of your digestion and liver naturally.

Turmeric, scientifically known as Curcuma longa, is a perennial plant from the ginger family (Zingiberaceae). Its above-ground parts are recognised by large, spear-shaped leaves, but the most valuable part lies beneath the soil – the root, with its distinctive orange-yellow colour.

Originating from South Asia, it is most abundant in India, where it has been an important part of Ayurvedic tradition, symbolising purity and protection.

This remarkable spice has a history of use spanning over 4,000 years, being mentioned in ancient Sanskrit texts as well as in Arab and European records from the Middle Ages.

Turmeric, or the “Golden Spice” – an Ayurvedic plant cherished for thousands of years.

Thanks to its distinctive colour, it is also known as the “golden spice.” Best known as a key ingredient in curry powder, turmeric also shines on its own and is widely used as a natural colouring agent.

The benefits of turmeric are appreciated by everyone, especially athletes after workouts, those with slower digestion, women of childbearing age, and older adults.

Organic Turmeric Powder is rich in dietary fibre, making it an excellent addition to your daily routine.

Use it in cooking, baking, or to prepare a nourishing drink.

Turmeric powder can be used and prepared in many different ways, such as:

  • Consume it on its own with water or yogurt – ¼–½ teaspoon daily for general support of the body and well-being.
  • As a spice – add to curries, rice, lentils, vegetable dishes, soups, and sauces, or use in marinades for meat...
  • Preparation of a golden turmeric drink or "golden latte" – season warm milk or a drink of your choice with turmeric, cinnamon, ginger, and honey to prepare a traditional drink for relaxation and regeneration.
  • Smoothies and juices – a small amount of turmeric improves the nutritional value and adds a slightly spicy flavor.
  • Baking – turmeric adds color and a mild flavor to baked goods such as bread, cakes, and other pastries.
  • Preparation of homemade cosmetics – everything from face masks to scalp care, it is suitable for acne-prone and oily skin as well as dry skin, and is also excellent for after-sun care.
